Losing Weight, Easy as 1, 2, …CAKE #4

So I’ve been off the wagon recently, more because I’ve been ill, not because I’ve been lazy. Whilst being ill I’ve wanted to eat constantly, especially carbs, my body was craving them like mad! I listened to my body and have it what it wanted but still was careful of what I ate. I also missed the gym for one week and barely went the next. After all this I decided I would face the truth and see how much I had gained (I was certain I had gained due to eating the equivalent of 50 cows and being a girl, I’m sure you all understand, Mother Nature was taking its course). When I got on the scales I was surprised to see that I had actually lost 1 pound!

So what I’m trying to say guys is if you’re ill, listen to your body. If you’re tired, rest. Missing one or a few workouts won’t ruin your progress. If you’re hungry, eat. Your body needs all the energy it can get to fight off the sickness, you won’t ruin your weightless by doing this. If your body is craving for a particular food, eat it. At the end of the day it’s not what you eat, it’s how much of it you eat. Eating good foods will always make you feel a little better in yourself, just don’t overindulge.

Don’t torture yourself because you’re desperate to lose weight. Everybody deserves a break at some point.
