I know we’re a week into October (time is just flying by, it’s so scary!) but I still really wanted to do a September favourites so I whipped one up so you can see what I’ve been loving the previous months! After all, better late than never right??
Star CC Cream
This was a Christmas gift a few years back from my parents. Yes I know we shouldn’t keep cosmetics longer than the expiry date, but I lost this item and found it again recently. I absolutely love it! It’s so hydrating on my skin and the coverage is actually OK for a CC cream!!
Garnier PureActive Micellar water
I’ve been using this product religiously every morning and night since the middle of August and I’m only halfway down the bottle!!! It’s so refreshing and is a part of my daily skin care routine. I honestly couldn’t go a day without it!
Skin Goo Facial Mist – Rosewater
I brought this halfway through September (you can read the post here), and I use it almost everyday. I use it first thing in the morning, just as I’m going to bed or during the day, even if I am wearing make up. I feel like it hydrates my face really well and it smells gorgeous! Kieron hugged me and commented on how nice I smelled, that was the only product I had used!
I actually started taking this halfway through September and I gotta say, my hair and nail growth is amazing! I’ll have to take pictures of my air and nails now and show it to you all in a months time. I had acrylics put on and within a week, I needed to go back to get infills!!! The condition of my hair has also improved massively. It’s thicker, shinier and feels more healthier overall. I purchased these from Holland and Barrett in the penny sale (buy one, get another for a penny) and they cost £6.99.
Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult
I have this on Audible and I love it!! It covers a pressing topic: Racism in the United States. The story follows a labour and delivery nurse, Ruth Jefferson who is also African-American and a tragic event that she is caught up in. I’m only about 17 chapters in as I listen it before I go to sleep. I absolutely love this story! The woman who voices Ruth also has the loveliest and most soothing voice, it helps me sleep!
I have literally binge watched this through September and I’m only 4 seasons in (no spoilers please!! The story follows young Elena Gilbert who gets caught up in a love triangle by two vampire brothers. I’m completely obsessed with this show! I’d recommend it to anyone and everyone.
I hope you like my favourites of September!
