June Favorites 2019

Hi Everyone,

After more time off I’m now back and ready to get back on the blogging wagon. Today I would like to share my June Favorites with you as I have tried and tested a lot of new products recent and I find I keep going back to some of them so I feel they’re definitely worth a share. If you would like to know what I’ve been loving this month then please keep reading.

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate

My Fiance got this product for me when we were on our flight to Crete at the beginning of June. It usually retails at £38, which always kind of put me off. I had heard so many good things about it but I didn’t want to spend that amount of money on something that could potentially do nothing for my skin. This was purchased at a discounted price and I’m so happy I finally got to try it! My skin has improved so much. I have quite acne prone skin (which I am taking roaccutane for) and have uneven skin tones and since I’ve been using this product every night before bed, my skin has never looked better. I actually go without foundation now as my skin tone is no longer uneven and looks really healthy! I’ll definitely be repurchasing this product when I run out and definitely recommend it to those on the fence about buying it.

Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream

Just like the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate, my fiance also brought this for me on our flight to Crete. I heard of it quite a while ago and looked into buying it for myself but never really got round to it. I don’t remember how much it cost, but I definitely will be purchasing another when it runs out. It contains only 6 ingredients which are olive oil, beeswax, honey, bee pollen, royal jelly and propolis. It looks almost waxy in the tub but when you rub it between your hands it goes oily (but not too oily) which I love as I find it really moisturizing. I have really problematic skin (cystic acne) and I feel this product and the Kiehl’s concentrate had a huge part to play in the amazing condition of my skin now. I find a little goes a long way with this product and it has multiple uses!

Lacura Healthy Glow Toner

I’m always a bit skeptical when trying a stores own brand. The Lacura Brand is by aldi and I’ve tried some makeup here and there but never skincare. I decided to change that when I saw they did their own version of the Pixi Glow Tonics. I’ve Never used the Pixi version so cant really compare the two but these are so good! There’s three different types, which are the exfoliating toner (5% glycolic acid, aloe vera and ginseng), the retinol toner (5% niacinamide, retinol and jasmine flower) and the rose toner (hyaluronic acid, rose and elder flower). I love all three and use them depending on the current condition of my skin. They’re pretty good for value too as I think they were £3.99 each!

Rose Water

If you don’t know already, rose water has really good benefits for your skin. I try and find skincare products containing it but sometimes there isn’t anything available. I purchased this when it was in clearance at my local Tesco for 50p. It’s pure rose water and I decanter it into a small spray bottle and spray it on my face when I use toner. It smells amazing too, it’s really fragrant but not too overpowering. I’ve made it part of my daily skincare routine and I really feel like it has helped my skin and complexion.
