Canterbury Beauty Haul

Hey my lovelies and welcome to my blog!

To celebrate getting a new job recently, I thought I’d treat myself to a few beauty bits (lame excuse to shop but it was the best I could come up with) and so I thought I would share my buys with you all!

I’m currently on the hunt for a safe tooth whitening product that actually works (I’ve tried a fair few) and came across this activated charcoal in Boots. This cost £9.99 so I hope I see some sort of difference. I’m going to try this product for a few weeks then review it and let you all know how I got on with it.

I’ve been looking for a stick foundation for quite a while now and was really happy to see that Lottie has brought one out. I’ve fallen in love with their brushes, I’m really excited to try their makeup too! This product cost £7.95.

Since E.L.F have come to Superdrug, I’ve gone absolutely mad on their products and have brought so much over the past few weeks! I decided I’d try their eyeliner as my Illamasqua liquid liner has gone walkabouts and I was desperate for a replacement that wasn’t the cheap 99p liner I brought from my local pound shop that stings my eyes like mad! I went for a pen type liner and it cost £4.50 which is a steal!!!!

Another E.L.F product I got was a 3-in-1 mascara. I’m very fussy with mascara as I absolutely HATE clumpy lashes. I didn’t use it on myself, I used it on my sister-in-law (I know your not meant to share wands, but I really don’t mind as it’s her) and her lashes looked absolutely incredible! I cant wait to use it for myself! Again this cost me £4.50 which is absolute amazing.

I recently watched a Facebook video of 3-4 women testing out concealers that were raved about and this was one of them. They all rated it 4-5 out of 5 and I think it was one of the cheapest products they tried so I had to give it a go for myself. I have terrible dark circles so I’m currently working on a post on how I cover them up and having already tried this product once (in the car after I brought it) I think it’ll definitely become part of my routine! This product cost £7 and So far I absolutely love it!

I’m definitely going mad on NYX as I also brought their Finishing Spray. There was a choice between dewy and matte and I went for dewy as I absolutely love that glowing, fresh look. This was £7 from Boots and so far, I’m in love with it!

I love a bit of Soap and Glory and was determined to buy a product from them! I decided on this green concealer at £8 as my old one went missing and dayum is it creamy!!! It blends like a dream, I honestly couldn’t be more impressed!

I’m really pleased with my purchases so I’d definitely like to review them for you after testing them out properly. I hope you enjoyed my posts! What are your current fave products? Let me know below 🙂

Much Love

Soft Smoky Prom Make up

Hey guys, welcome to my blog!

Today I have another make up post for you! Now this look doesn’t have to be used only for prom, it’s quite a wearable look and can really be worn for any occasion.

The beautiful model/prom goer is my younger sister Emily (Emmimori) and I was honoured when she passed the chance to have a makeup artist and hair dressed hired to do her hair and make up, but asked me instead! So I did my best and I think she looked absolutely beautiful.

I wanted to do a softer look as her dress was quite bright and I didn’t want to make it too much or take anything away from the dress so I kept it simple but elegant.

Here are the cosmetics I used for the make up look:

NYX Studio Perfect Photo Loving Primer

Kiko Skin Tone Foundation

Seventeen 18 hour concealer

Seventeen phwoar paint

Rimmel Loose Powder

Sleek  Contour Palette (blush included)

NYX Illuminator (ritualistic)

W7 In the Buff Palette

Barry M Eye Shine shadow and glaze Palette

Bourjois Liner Feutre (in black)

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Curve Alert Mascara (in black)

Rimmel Wake me up Waterproof Mascara (in black)

Soap and Glory Archery Brow

Clinique Colour Pop (in beige pop)

I kept the make up very minimal and as both of the palettes don’t name their shades, if you want to know what shades I used comment below and I will take photos for you all 🙂
